Challenges can lead to healing!

I can recall my first traumatic experience as early as preschool age. Then, I endured another life changing event in my late teens. A year after that, I experienced the loss of two loved ones very close to me in a span of two weeks. A month later, my father suffered a brain injury and almost lost his life.

I wish I could say that these were all the hard things I've endured, but there were even tougher challenges after that.

Even though I don't remember all the details of all these events, my body does, and the impact of all the pain and loss began to show up in autoimmune challenges in my late twenties.

It wasn't until I had my second child in my early thirties that I realized something was really not right mentally, emotionally, and physically. Chronic autoimmune flare ups, fatigue, anxiety, and insomnia ruled over my life until I finally chose to take authority over my health. I began finding root causes and natural, holistic solutions.

Throughout my journey, there have always been people that have stood in faith with me for my healing. Sometimes people had faith AND solutions. As an IASIS therapist, I see it as a gift and honor when I get to stand in faith AND offer a solution for someone's next breakthrough.
